Today I will pray many times…
Eternal Father, in whom mercy is endless and the treasury of compassion inexhaustible, look kindly upon us and increase Your mercy in us, so that in difficult moments we may not despair nor become despondent but with great confidence submit ourselves to Your holy will, which is love and mercy itself.
Guess who went to the taxman last night? It’s frustrating to hear someone tell us that we make too much money and how the tax system now penalizes those who chose to have more than one or two kids…Eternal Father…through God’s grace I will move past the stress I am feeling right now.
I’m reminded of the famous line from my favorite Sitcom…serenity now, serenity now (insanity later).
