It won’t be much of a post this morning…I set my mental alarm for 4:30AM, but I seemed to have hit the snooze button. Being it is Friday, there are numerous opportunities for prayer today.
Based on today’s readings, especially the first one, listen to Joseph and his Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat. If you don’t have a copy, call my girls, they’ll sing it to you start to finish.
I always recommend another Andrew Lloyd Webber musical, Jesus Christ Superstar, to listen to during Lent.
Find a church and get to Mass, or Stations of the Cross (St. Mary Magdalen tonight at 7PM); go to confession.
The tradition rosary and my 7-Day rosary are both in agreement today – The Sorrowful Mysteries. The Mysteries can be found under the prayer link tab to the left.
Another tab is for offering names or intentions for all who participate in this “virtual” prayer group to offer. Let me be the first to do this. Please offer prayers for my son’s father-in-law, David Starzyk, who is undergoing radiation treatment and soon to be chemotherapy for lung cancer. Please keep David, his wife Sally and his three beautiful daughters in your prayers. Thank you.
Have a great and blessed day and make sure that everything you do today is for the greater glory of God – you can’t go wrong with that…
- God’s will, not mine, be done.
- Be not afraid.
- Jesus, I trust in You.
