Ah, the mind of Jerry Dorhauer. What jumps out at you in today’s readings? In the first reading, how frustrated must the high priests been when, after locking up the Apostles in jail, only to come back the next morning to hear them back in the temple area teaching the people again. Those crafty little angels. Is that what I focused on this morning – nope. Or how about the Psalm – The Lord hears the cry of the poor…I will bless the LORD at all times; his praise shall be ever in my mouth. Let my soul glory in the LORD; the lowly will hear me and be glad. That’s what I focused in on, right?…Nope. Then we see the Gospel, John 3:16…John 3:16…hey, I wonder what Rainbow Man is up to? That’s right, my mind went directly to this. I guess that is the risk you run sometimes when I’m the one typing the blog.
Thanks for all your prayers yesterday. We welcomed Audrey Grace into the world (well, I found out about it anyway) at 9:40 AM. I know if you’re telling your wives about this or if you are a female reading this, here is the answer to the next question…21″ long and 7lbs 2oz. She is the twin sister of her brother Logan, just separated in time by 2.5 years. All are doing well.
All is well in the world.
God’s will, not mine be done.
Be not afraid.
Jesus, I trust in you.
Congratulation Grandpa and Grandma….again! God is blessing you and your family! Phil & Patty On Apr 11, 2018 4:58 AM, “St. Mary Magdalen Men of God” wrote:
