For the Leahy family:
Blessed Mother, we pray you take our intentions and lay them at the throne of all Graces. Intercede on our behalf at the feet of our Triune God. We ask that our prayers be heard and answered according to Their will.
(State your intention…follow with): We ask you to heal the divisions in the Leahy family and allow Andy to attend the funeral Mass of his son Chris.

I am bolstered by today’s first reading from James.
My brothers and sisters,
if anyone among you should stray from the truth
and someone bring him back,
he should know that whoever brings back a sinner
from the error of his way will save his soul from death
and will cover a multitude of sins.
My whole inspiration for this blog was to try and find a way to bring the Truth , the Light into the lives of close friends of mine who have fallen away from the Church. If you too have friends like this, feel free to pass this blog onto them. The purpose of this is not meant to point fingers at them and call them sinners. We are all sinners – so let’s not point out the obvious. The purpose of this blog is to try and pass on the beauty of the Church that I’m able to see, that I wholly believe in and that I want all to believe in with me. It is my simple way of praying for those who need to find Christ again in their lives. My faith is my life and at one point was theirs too. As we all know, life can be hard, the world can be daunting and we can all be led astray from that narrow path that leads us to God. It is my hope that this simple blog can be that light in their darkness, that directional APP that brings them back to the road of salvation. I intend to continue writing this blog until we are all on that path to salvation. With the guidance of the Most Holy Trinity (which by the way we celebrate this weekend), I will always have fresh ways of looking at the sacraments, the readings from the Mass, the meaning of the Mass and sharing some of my life experiences in all of that in the hopes that one morning as they read this – if they read this – that the ember of that once burning flame builds up in their hearts and they become like fire for God once again.
Please pray that this happens. As is written in our Psalm from today’s reading…
Let my prayer come like incense before you.
Do something great for our Lord today.
God’s will, not mine, be done.
Be not afraid.
Jesus, I trust in You.
