I overslept this AM – by 2 hours plus. Today will be brief on the blog but you can make the most of it in thought and pray. Reflect on today’s readings, just simply read them and think about how God is talking to you through them. Just a couple of quick thoughts – it is after all my blog.
Today is the Memorial of St. Anthony of Padua. St. Anthony of Padua was the first parish Sarah and I attended as a young married couple 31 years ago. Our first daughter – Grace – was baptized there. The first soccer team I ever coached was there. Little aside – first soccer game of the first year of coaching – I got a red card and tossed from the game. 😦 I hoped I’ve matured since then…
Don’t want to beat a dead horse, but what is talked about AGAIN in the Gospel today? I’m just sayin’ – learn the 10 commandments and live the 10 commitments.
Do something great for the Lord today – love our God and love your neighbor.
God’s will, not mine, be done.
Be not afraid.
Jesus, I trust in You.
