Happy Flag Day.
I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America. And to the Republic for which it stand, one nation, under God, with liberty and justice for all.
Happy Flag Day.
I’m going to have to spend some extra time trying to understand the meaning of our first reading, maybe because it’s late Wednesday (heading into work reallly early tomorrow) and my head just isn’t clear this late – I have no idea what the message from God and our Church is in our reading from 1 Kings.
I’ve been staring at my screen and thinking for quite some time now. I’m going to leave you to contemplate the readings on your own…I’m tired and need to get some rest.
If you end up staring at your screen like me – let me offer this for you to do – the Luminous Mysteries.
One thing to look forward to in the near future is studying the Mass and its rich traditions. Sarah and I have bought Bp. Barron’s series on the Mass and look forward to sharing his thoughts and ours with all of you.
To something great for our Lord today.
God’s will, not mine, be done.
Be not afraid.
Jesus, I trust in You.
