Jesus does our praying in and for us, making prayer out of our wordless sighs, our aching groans. He knows us far better than we know ourselves. — Romans 8:27

In need of a prayer?  Let’s spend today asking God to bless those in need around us.  You can either offer your prayer up to those who read/follow this blog or you can offer your prayer in silence…God will hear them either way.  I will start with the same offerings I make everyday when I pray the Rosary…

For those in need of healing, especially my wife Sarah, my brother-in-law Mark, my brother Jeff, my mother Judy.  May Your healing touch come to them and offer them comfort in their daily struggles.

For the dead, especially my father Jack, my father-in-law Ignatius, Tiffany Lentz, John Snyder, Doc Hoffman, Jim Schmidt, for all of my family and friends who have passed.  May their souls, and the souls of all the just, through the mercy of God, rest in peace.

For friends and family who have fallen away from the Church.  As their shepherd Lord, find them and bring them back to the fold.

For the conversion of sinners.

For the end to abortions.

For Peace, for perseverance, for prosperity, for purity of heart, for the Pope and the Church, for the President and our country.

Please pray for Kymm H. Fears who suffered a stroke last week.

Please pray for Sarah and I as we try to shed a few pounds.  (Sarah and I were again talking about this last night at Red Robin waiting for our salads to come and while finishing off the chili cheese fries we had ordered.  Please pray hard.)

Please for Richard and Megan as their wedding approaches.  May they experience the same love for each other that Christ shares with His Bride – the Church.

Please pray for safe travels for my son-in-law Garrett.

Do something great for our Lord today…offer up something in His Name.  He offered His life for all of us.

God’s will, not mine, be done.

Be not afraid; just have faith.

Jesus, I trust in You.
