Please pray for the family of Felicity Noelle Karam. Felicity was the 2-year old struck by the ice cream truck on Sunday afternoon. I can’t not imagine the grief her parents and family must be feeling at this time. For Felicity’s soul and for the strength for her young parents and siblings to carry on in this time of sorrow…
Hail Mary, full of Grace, the Lord is with you. Blessed art thou among women and blessed is the fruit of your womb Jesus. Holy Mary, mother of God, pray for us sinners now and at the hour of our death. Amen.

From the wisdom of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton, patron saint of grief…
The key to handling grief well is to communicate often with God through prayer, Elizabeth believed. She said,
“We must pray without ceasing, in every occurrence and employment of our lives, that prayer which is rather a habit of lifting up the heart to God as in a constant communication with him.”
Elizabeth prayed often, and when urging others to pray frequently, she reminded them that God is close to the brokenhearted and cares deeply about the sorrow of grief. She said:
“In every disappointment, great or small. Let your heart fly directly to your dear Savior, throwing yourself in those arms for refuge against every pain and sorrow. Jesus will never leave you or forsake you.”
St. Elizabeth Ann Seton, pray for the Karam family in their time of grief.
