Sometimes the hardest thing a Dad has to do is say goodbye to his daughter…

As a father of eight, I know this experience all to well, so I’m saying a prayer for my brother Jeff today.  His daughter, Erica, graduated from college yesterday and will head north soon to begin her career.  As proud as my brother is of his daughter, I know my brother well and I know tears will be shed as he lets go.  It ain’t easy bro, been there, done that.  Please know that as hard as it is, Erica will grow and learn to be the best person she can be doing this.  She has a great foundation to work from because of the love you and Diana have shown her; she also has a great example in her older brother.  So, please take a minute to say a prayer for Jeff, Diana and Erica.

That is all this morning…

Do something great for our Lord today – tell your kids how much you love them.  Call them, send them a text message, give them a virtual hug.  God blessed you with them; give thanks for the gift that they are.

God’s will, not mine, be done.

Be not afraid; just have faith.

Jesus, I trust in You.
