Today’s post will be a hyper link to another article I found on line. After I read the Gospel for today, I went on line to find out what was the importance of starting the New Testament with a genealogy of really hard names to pronounce. I have spent the last 20 minutes reading this (and I’m still reading) and now I’m out of time to type anything for this post. This is very interesting and I hope you take the time to read through this. The Origins of Jesus Christ by Robert L. Deffinbaugh.
Do something great for our Lord today – learn how to properly pronounce all of the names listed in Matthew’s Gospel this morning (good luck with that one Deacon Bill).
God’s will, not mine, be done.
Be not afraid; just have faith.
Jesus, I trust in You.
