O Radiant Dawn, Splendor of eternal light, sun of justice: come and shine on those who dwell in darkness and in the shadow of death.

Beautiful words spoken in our reading, psalm and Gospel this morning.  David wanting to build a house for the Lord but the Lord replying who are YOU to build a house for ME.  The Psalm shouts that Forever I will sing the goodness of the Lord, and then we proclaim the Canticle of Zachariah in our Gospel this morning.  All of this is leading up to the climax tonight when we proclaim the birth of our Savior.  Tonight we will gather in house built by us for God, we will sing of the miraculous present given to all generations from God – a Savior for the Nations.  And just have we have done all Advent Season, we will be asked to proclaim, as did the prophets of old, the coming of Christ.  I’ll ask again, are you ready?

Our Mass schedule for today and tomorrow is:

4 PM & 6 PM Mass on Christmas Eve

11:30 PM Concert on Christmas Eve

12 AM & 9 AM Mass on Christmas Day

Do something great for our Lord.  Give Him the gift He has always wanted from you – YOU.  Find the time to get to Mass and thank God, thank Mary and Joseph, thank the Holy Spirit for the greatest gift of all – Jesus Christ our Savior.

God’s will, not mine, be done.

Be not afraid; just have faith.

Jesus, I trust in You.
