The LORD bless you and keep you! The LORD let his face shine upon you, and be gracious to you! The LORD look upon you kindly and give you peace!

I waited until now to send my last post for the year.  I would wait until the stroke of midnight, but chances of me still being up at that time are slim and forget it.  I will keep this short and simple.

  1.  It is my wish for you that this coming year is one you’re able to find more time with God.  Of any resolutions made, to me there is none better than one spent trying to better my relationship with God.  As long as that relationship is strong, all else will be right in my life.  So my resolution for the new year is to wake up and spend 1 hour with God before doing anything else.  It is my way of offering my “first fruits” to Him in thanksgiving for all He has blessed me with.
  2. I haven’t been doing this blog for quite a year yet, but it is close enough.  I renewed my “site”for the coming year, so you will have another year of me posting whatever thoughts come to my mind that I want to share with the “world”.  I define “world” by the 12 people following me on this blog.  By defining it that way, I can truly say it is a small world after all.

One last thing for the year.  I ask that you pray for the following people and their families…

James Gunn – father of Mike Gunn; I know Mike through St. Mary Magdalen.  I didn’t know James personally, but I can tell you that if Mike is anything like his father, James was a beautiful man.  Mike is man of faith, a man who loves his family and a great example for all who desire to be a man of faith.  Please keep Mike and his family in your prayers.

Josh Buckmeier.  Josh was an electrician who I met when working for Kaiser Electric.  Josh passed away suddenly last week from what I was told was a heart attack.  He leaves behind his wife and two children.  Josh was one of the best at his trade and I know he will be missed deeply by all who knew him.

May their souls, and the souls of all the faithfully departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace.

So, as the year comes to an end, do something great for our Lord today – commit to making your relationship with Him a top priority for you in 2019.  Happy New Year.

God’s will, not mine, be done.

Be not afraid; just have faith.

Jesus, I trust in You.
