“Deep within his conscience man discovers a law which he has not laid upon himself but which he must obey. Its voice, ever calling him to love and to do what is good and to avoid evil, sounds in his heart at the right moment. . . . For man has in his heart a law inscribed by God. . . . His conscience is man’s most secret core and his sanctuary. There he is alone with God whose voice echoes in his depths.”47

Continuing on with my thoughts from yesterday about why I am pro-life.  One must follow their conscience because, as it is quoted above from the Catechism of the Catholic Church (1776), our conscience is our direct link to our personal conversation with God.  I am posting the following link that is taken directly from the Catechism of the Catholic Church which guides us on how import our conscience truly is.

My faith, my Church calls me to inform my conscience so I am able to make moral decisions.  In order to do that, I must study what my faith tells me is important and I again do that by reading the Catechism of my faith.  I am now posting the portion of the Catechism that directly relates to abortion and euthanasia.

Again, more to follow on this topic.

Do something great for our Lord today – pray for Life.

God’s will, not mine, be done.

Be not afraid; just have faith.

Jesus, I trust in You.
