We should not stay away from our assembly, as is the custom of some, but encourage one another, and this all the more as you see the day drawing near.

Another brief message today.  The opening quotes hints about getting back to the Mass if you’ve strayed; the responsorial psalm supports this crying out that this is the people that longs to see your face.  The Gospel tells us that Christ is the light and anyone with ears ought to hear.  So this message isn’t coming from me, it is coming from above…if you know people who aren’t attending Mass (or services), encourage them to do so.  Life is too short and eternal life is permanent.  This simple message was displayed during a short talk at Mass on Sunday in support of Catholic Schools week…NO GOD, NO PEACE.  KNOW GOD, KNOW PEACE.  Seek the Lord while He may be found; call to Him while He is still near.

Do something great for our Lord today – commit to going to Mass on Sunday – every Sunday.

God’s will, not mine, be done.

Be not afraid; just have faith.

Jesus, I trust in You.

He must increase; I must decrease.
