What a blessing we’ve had this week with the weather. It, to quote my Aunt Jackie, has been gargis. For those who didn’t grow up in South City or happen to know my Aunt, it’s been gorgeous. I’m continuing my quest to try and get the Church’s open again. I sent an email to the archdiocese today. The website they have hasn’t been update. The site says all public Masses were to be stopped until April 30th – does that mean we can go to Mass again now? I sent them an email requesting when it is they will allow for public Masses once again. The email address they ask questions be sent to is…
Until that time, please continue to attend the virtual Masses being offered. Again, St. Mary Magdalen offers a full schedule of Masses everyday and also a holy hour. You can follow at stmmchurchmass on Instagram.
I apologize that I don’t have much more to say today, but my whole focus has turned to getting public Masses reestablished for the faithful.
Do something great for our Lord today – send the Archdiocese a quick email requesting that public Masses resume.
God’s will, not mine, be done.
Be not afraid; just have faith.
Jesus, I trust in You.
He must increase; I must decrease.
Lord, if You wish, You can make me clean.
But you man of God chose righteousness, devotion, faith, love, patience and gentleness. Compete well for the faith.
Eternal God, in Whom mercy is endless and the treasury of compassion – inexhaustible, look kindly upon us and increase Your mercy in us so that in difficult moments we may not despair nor become despondent but with great confidence submit ourselves to Your holy will which is Love and Mercy itself.
